The woes for Ashutosh Gowarikar’s magnum opus Jodhaa Akbar seem to be unending. Now it’s the turn of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Madhya Pradesh (MP), who have suspended the screening of the film. MP’s Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the film has been suspended since they fear a law and order problem in the state. If that wasn’t enough, some theatres in Punjab and Bihar have also banned the film from being screened and a low-intensity blast was reported outside a Mumbai theatre, which was screening the film. Meanwhile, the UTV sent out a press release stating, “We have today moved to the Madhya Pradesh (MP) High Court to lift the suspension on the
