After the three happy days of wedding celebrations which went as a private event, the Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, went for lunch at the brides home “La Mer“, later today bid a
farewell to her house and reached Bachchan’s bungalow ‘Prateeksha‘.
Aishwarya Rai was seated on a traditional `doli` (palanquin) as she was leaving her home of her parents “La Mer�. But she has to jumped in a car avoiding media personal on the way to her new home. She was seen wearing a cream-coloured lehenga while she did her emotional thank you bid to her parents for taking care of her till to this day.
As both Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai family are strong belivers of Hindu religion, the newly married couple visited India’s famous Hindu shrines. The first was Tirupati Temple. Already befor
e the wedding Amitabh Bachchan has visited Tirupati Temple for the blessing of the couple. Now the newly married Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai flew there to get the blessing of Lord Balaji.
They were accompanied to Tirupati by the rest of the Bachchan family and even industrialist Anil Ambani.
Meanwhile, the senior Bachchan also spoke to the media on Sunday, saying sorry because security guards roughed up journalists outside his house.
“I regret any inconvenience suffered by anyone. I don’t want to upset anyone on this auspicious occasion,� he said.

Like the marriage, the temple affair too, was a closely guarded event.
For the first time ever, the media was barred from the temple as Bachchan and family prayed and devotees kept out were not too happy with the move.
“I was waiting for two-three hours. It normally it takes only one hour. Just because they have fame and money doesn’t mean they get preference. After all even we have come with equal shradha (devotion),� said a devotee.
