ehendi was brought from the groom’s house to the bride’s. Over 15 kg of henna was brought from Sojat, Rajasthan for the mehendi ceremony. Aishwarya wore a peach coloured zardosi lehnga designed by her friend Neeta Lulla.
As per tradition, the Mehndi
ceremony was held at the bride’s house. It was a small, private ceremony with only close relatives and friends of the Rais invited. Abhishek, his sister Shweta Nanda, Sonali Bendre and her husband Goldie Behl attended the ceremony at the Rai’s La Mer residence.
