In fact, his domination over Dhoni in Season 1 could have well been the prime reason for his entry into the ODI squad while other finds like Abhishek Nayar never came into the reckoning.
Gibbs batted through and yet got to face only 26 deliveries while Rohit Sharma who pretty much dropped himself out of ODI reckoning recently, looked once again in sparkling touch.
